Clore Suite, Great North Museum: Hancock
Are you looking to develop your creative skills? Would you like to know how to develop creative interventions with artist-partners? This free event is aimed at teachers, leaders and Artsmark schools keen to enrich their classroom practice and develop their creative pedagogy.
This face-to-face event will give you the opportunity to hear from five North East Creative Schools who worked with The Forge and Culture Bridge North East to develop their own unique programmes. You will find out how they developed ideas, identified artists, co-created, delivered and evaluated their projects.
As well as hearing from the schools, you will get the opportunity to gain new skills and pick up new ideas and new approaches from two fabulous workshops: one with poet Rowan McCabe (exploring spoken word) and one with drama practitioner John Quinn (exploring how to engage through drama). You will also get an opportunity to hear more about cultural learning opportunities with Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums.
Places are FREE but numbers are limited, so to reserve your place, please email Sue Archbold on enquiries@intheforge.com as soon as possible.
