FLSE Medicines in Specialist Schools(MISS) Regional Group- North East

FLSE is an independent body which, as a registered charity and a ‘not for profit’ organisation, provides a framework for extensive dialogue between all those providing special education services and the DfE and local authorities. It is the organisation which relates to government and policy makers and is the voice of leaders who work within the field of special education.

MISS seeks to give a voice to school leaders in specialist provision, who want to ensure that their pupils receive high quality health and medical support while they are in school.

Regional FLSE members are invited to attend a termly meeting hosted at Sunningdale School to discuss, share practice and develop joint approaches to the implementation, monitoring and practices relating to high quality health and medical support in Specialist settings. The meetings will be attended by leaders of specialist provisions from across the region as well as regional representatives of MISS and other relevant organisations.
